Trips
As we reserve Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for the older children this give us more opportunity to take the children out of the preschool setting. For example we sometimes go on walks round the village looking for interesting things, take post to the post box or maybe visit the park.

During the summer term we took a walk down to the river for a picnic. After our picnic we enjoyed playing some parachute games.

We took the children to visit a local farm. They enjoyed learning about the different animals and they even got the chance to sit on a big tractor!

We got the chance to take the children to one of the teachers homes to visit their pets. They loved getting up close to the rabbits and giving them a stroke.
Mini Strikers
We are very lucky to have Mr Mikey from Mini Strikers visit us once a week to introduce the children to a variety of different sports and exercise.

These sessions are extreemly interactive and the children love these afternoons. They learn about a variety of sports including: football, golf, rugby, tennis and hockey. It is also an important introduction to healthy living and exercise for the children.
